I have a question. I was told that I have no known Jewish ancestry. So now I don't know what my Haplogroup K is? If Jewish is a religion then can Haplogroup K be called something else? If it is not Jewish what is it?
This is what she said.
Here's the basic puzzle: if the original k1a1b1a was non-Jewish, why is it that over 90% of current k1a1b1a are Jewish? Jews were always a minority in Europe, and if k1a1b1a was a European haplogroup, we would expect more Europeans to be k1a1b1a. It is hard to explain why there aren't more non-Jewish k1a1b1a.
