Just got my mtDNA results back today. Haplogroup T1a1b. I did a full mtDNA analysis. How can I help move citizen science forward with this information? Any help is appreciated.

You could submit your sequence to GenBank, to help research on the mtDNA tree:
So far there seems to be only one other T1a1b sequence submitted: http://www.ianlogan.co.uk/sequences_..._sequences.htm
You could compare your sequence to that one, but even if exactly the same, still could submit yours.

Well, I took the plunge and registered with GenBank. I found two people with the T1a1b haplogroup with one having an exact match. I thought that was amazing. I was somewhat hesitant to submit when I found out that genbank is a .gov data base. But then I said, "blah, who cares".
