Searching for matches in both mtDNA and autosomal DNA

Is there a tool at FTDNA to search for people who match both my mitochondrial and autosomal DNA?

Sort your Family Finder match list by 'mtDNA Haplogroup'.

Sign into your kit. Scroll down looking for the 'Additional Test & Tools' section. Click on the 'Advanced Matches' icon. The new page allows you to select many different options. You might try any of the mtDNA options and the Family Finder option.

The Search box on the right of Family Finder accepts Y and mtDNA haplogoups. It is case sensitive.

On the Advanced Search, IMO you should change the "Show Only People....." to Yes. The default is no.


Keep in mind that HVR1 and HVR2 matches to Family Finder are more like curiosities, than significant matches. Ditto for Y12 and FF.
