    Doesn't look like H10c1 is common in Ireland. Oh, well since all I really know about my mom's maternal line is that her grandmother's maiden name was probably Duncan, I guess I can rule out her being Irish.

      Sure, and my paternal grandfather's McNally mother's Irish mtDNA is H5K, passed down from her mother, a Donnelly from who knows what parents, or where in Ireland - it's a brick wall!
