What does it mean if a person has the same HVR1 and HVR2 mutations with another person?

It depends on whether you have a unique set of HVR mutations that identifies a specific subclade. Some people have recent, extra HVR mutations that make a match more significant. Other people have had no HVR mutations in their line in thousands of years so they match many people who are only very distantly related. If you post you HVR results here, someone can probably comment further. But in most cases the full sequence is needed.
