FTDNA's cookie cutter app for projects does both Y-DNA and mtDNA if the project admin allows it to do so.

I called FTDNA's support and they said that they don't support that app so I sent to a email that is in the app and their response is they only do Y-DNA and don't do a app for mtDNA and don't plan on doing one.

Not on point, but my issue is that once a subgroup is populated, there is no way to impose any order on that list to group kits with common Earliest Ancestors together. If anyone has been able to do this, please share!

Have you called FTDNA's support, I always find them helpful.

I'm never sure what people are talking about when they say 'App'. I do very little on my cell phone. When I said FTDNA had a mtDNA app and referred to their cookie cutter program I was talking about the website it builds. See attachment.

Sign in to your GAP, select the desired project, hover over 'Project Admin', click on 'Public Website' in the drop down list. On the right side of the page you can select Y-DNA options and mtDNA options.

I always thought this was a FTDNA program but it's not it is by a 3rd party ( http://www.ydnagroupingapp.com/ ). You have to upload the CVS file generated you FTDNA and it will generate a file that groups you Y-DNA matches in groups. You then generate the groups and then add the people to the groups.
