Hmm, I don't have either of those news items on my GAP administrator home page.

I don't believe either have been there for a year. The one dated 1/17/2014 says FTDNA will be closed today 1/19/2015. The one dated 1/16/2014 is about the 2015 conference. Both of these are above the information for the 2014 conference indicating they are newer.

I don't think so. They have been there for a year, and the agenda for last year's conference is still there as well. I sent a message asking that the page be cleaned up but it appears to be a very low priority.

I assume the two new post on the GAP "Project Administrator News" dated 01/16/2014 and 01/17/2014 should be dated 2015.
