If you are a project admin forward a copy of the email to the project support email address. If not, include the email in a report using the customer support link at the top of this page. If needed, they will deal with it.

    Example of Join Invite

Got an e-mail - which included (I am substituting XXXX for the actual surname):

"Please join The XXXX Surname Project at FTDNA.
Please add people, and details for people already in the tree,
to our / your tree at
    MyHeritage.com
    Aidova website
The most reliable tree is: "

(there was also a greeting and a salutation and the sender's name)

Did not like that it was sent to six rows of e-mail addresses, all visible to all of us. Have addressed that here: https://forums.familytreedna.com/for...out-permission

Aside from that - is this an example of an acceptable invite? Recommended?
Is the encouragement to join a specific website / Tree at MyHeritage usual? Advisable? Questionable?

Looked on FTDNA for that XXXX Surname Project -- it has no Description - when you click on the website, it has no Overview, says it has 44 Members. It lists just the one surname.

How should I view the invite?
