  • FTDNA temporarily modifying the Group Administrator page

Looking right now at my Group Administrator page, I see several changes:

    1) The option to color-code marker value differences is gone.

    2) In the regular yDNA table, both member name and ancestor name are now displayed.

    3) Most of the 37-to-67 panels no longer show up in the Received Results.

Because (1) and (3) are losses in functionality, I assume they are temporary.

I just was checking the received lab results page to see if any members got SNP results today. I noticed that the results that show up end at 11/30. Yesterday, there had been some results which showed up since 12/01.

I suspect that they're doing some kind of programming with the website that may be causing what I described above and what you also describe. It may be a temporary "glitch" as a result of whatever they're doing.

On my GAP, the color-code Marker Value is gone, I do not see both names on the regular DNA table and do not see anything missing on Received Results. However, mtHVR2toMega(FGS) has been dropped from the revised Unreceived Results page (with no results shown on Received Results or Personal Page).
I also assume this is just temporary while changes are being made.

1 & 3 appear to be fixed. I think 2 has been that way for a while, but I could be wrong.

However, I just reported to FTDNA that my project's Unreceived Results list is messed up. It's showing tests for people who have never ordered those tests, some pending tests are completely missing, etc. Gotta love those programming bugs!

            Allele chart looking different ? ? ?

Has anyone noticed a different appearance of the allele table? For some time, I have my projects set to show the kit numbers and early ancestor info (names, dates, locations, etc). The ancestor info is gone, and only the kit numbers are listed, along with the allele numbers of course.

            Anyone else seeing this?

            Thanks,
            Sharron

All I am showing are allele values, no kit numbers, no Hgs, no names! I have reported it.
