  • Where are my National Genographic yDNA results?

I received my father's yDNA results from Family Tree DNA a few weeks ago. I paid $15 to transfer the results from FTDNA to the National Genographic project. However, my results don't seem to have been transferred - when I check at National Genographic, the site states that the kit is in "arrival and batch creation." I assumed my results would be available fairly quickly as the analysis has already been completed and it's a simple matter of transferring data. It's been over three weeks now.

I've contacted Family Tree DNA customer service several times and haven't received a response. I can't find contact information for National Genographic. Has this happened to anyone else? How long should I expect to wait before my yDNA results show up at National Genographic?

You are right, it shouldn't take that long. I would give FTDNA a call at (713) 868-1438.

No doubt they are under a lot of workload stress right now, and have been for a couple of months. And that may explain it. But a phone call might help rescue a relatively simple task from falling further into the cracks.

Yes this had happened to several people. Here is a link to one of the threads about it:

The FTDNA forum administrator, Darren, posted a message there for other people in the same situation to contact him (FTDNA) directly at [email protected]

My suggestion is to copy and paste your post into a new email message and send it.
