I haven't logged in to my page at the Genographic Project in so long I forgot my password. How can I get it back?

Same here, but since I know that the GP hasn't bothered to update their migration maps or other useful information, I wonder if it is necessary. I just use FTDNA directly.

Thanks, no help for me. I've had two crashed hard drives since the summer of '07. I have all of the e-mail messages still saved. Not one of them tells me the kit number, only the order number and the confirmation number.

Oh well, like I said, they've not bothered to update much so I'll just stick to using Family Tree and other sources directly.

I lost my password for this project and emailed FTDNA. They replied with both my Y-DNA and MtDNA passwords. I did join FTDNA first though, so maybe this made my password retrieval possible!

I didn't get a password as such, just a Genographic Project Kit ID beginning with "F".

Is that what FTDNA was able to recover for you?

You say "these" plural. I only got one when I entered my Y DNA, so it seems if I enter my mtDNA I get a separate one?

I paid the $15 but it was the GP that gave me the kit number.

Yes, I do have a password for each!
I joined the Genographic Project via FTDNA. I chose the link on my homepage first with my YDNA and paid the $15. I then chose the link on my mtDNA page, it didn't charge $15 again though.
