I have been wondering how much the Genographic Project is going to be able to tell us (the world), given that it tests for only 12 markers.
Ever notice how little information one gets from 12 markers? How many people cannot even get a y-haplogroup prediction from 12 markers, or how many get a prediction that turns out to have been wrong?
I guess maybe we will get some broad brush strokes from the Genographic Project, but that will probably be it.
I guess something is better than nothing.
