99% Asia Minor

Hello,

I recently got my results from the Genographic Project and I got 99% Asia Minor.
I'm Lebanese, my mom is of Armenian/Greek descent and my dad is Greek Orthodox Lebanese (Rum ethnicity).
I was expecting a bit more diversity, like some Arabian and some Southern European...can anyone explain why i would get 99% Asia Minor?
Also my Maternal Line is H15A1. My Paternal Line is G-F4297. which i understand are very rare lines. does anyone know what they mean?

I think H15A1 is more or less from the same area. People have asked about it in a couple of prior posts though I’ll doubt you’ll find them very useful.

I know nothing about your Y-DNA but didn’t genographic walk you through it? Step by step, mutation by mutation. If you missed that part go back to your results and page through it.

I’m really unhappy with genographic now that it uses Helix, and will never do another test there, but I must say their results screens are very well done. And the stand-alone infographic would make for a great sweatshirt.

My Paternal Line is G-F4297.

YFull considers F4297 to be at the same level as CTS11562. Take a look at their G-CTS11562 haplotree.
