    Denial of Lee Descendants

I am interested in helping all of the Lee descendants that are being denied their ancestry and are being discouraged by possible tampering with DNA results. If you are a Lee descendant, and we are cousins, regardless or race, color, religion, etc., and we all have the right to know our roots and family heritage. I know how difficult this can be.

Please contact me at [email protected] and share my contact information with any other Lee cousins interested in getting to the truth.

    Thank you,
    Jacqueli Finley

My earliest for sure known direct maternal ancestor was Cynthia A. Lee, unless that is an alias for some reason. I've been trying to figure out just which lee family she came from. Her census info gives her birth place as Indiana in 1816. That's mighty early for Indiana. At the present time I place her in the large Virginia Lee clan, which includes Robert E. Lee. I have a few DNA matches with people in that branch, but who are lot named Lee. However, my/her mtDNA is U5b2b2/G228A, which is rare. That haplotype is found n early Massachusetts. So she could also be a yankee Lee, ha ha. And yes, that Virginia Lee clan also has Abraham Lincoln in it. If they connect to the Taylors of Virginia, which I see has been shown, then Zachary Taylor, actor Elizabeth Taylor and James Madison are also in that big tree.
