I've experienced the phenomenon myself: after 4 or 5 beers, Neanderthal girls start to look pretty good!

I've had quite a few more than six beers at one sitting, and I've seen some Neanderthal girls improve to Cro-Magnon, but I've never seen males of any kind start to look good.
