First, excuse me for my bad english.
I hope this is the right place to do this question.
I have just begun in FTDNA so I am newbie. I am going to buy a FTDNA in the next future, but now I already have some DNA results from NG Genographic Project. I transfered it very easily. Then, I checked it and noticed some values that have been changed.
DYS385 original=15-15, FTDNA transfered DYS385 new value=12-15.
DYS389II original=16, FTDNA transfered DYS389II new value=28.
Question 1 - Are those values translated automatically in the right way?
Question 2 - Have I to change them, doing it manually?
I have seen in the YSearch site that there is some conversion tables for Oxford and other DNA sources. But I am not sure if I have to change values manually or the changes are already done during the transfer from NG to FTDNA (hence the differences in those values), so it's better don't change the new values.
Thanks in advance for your help.
