Confusion over viewing 2.0 Next Generation Results

I was worried that would be the answer. I'd considered that, as the meaning. I think it's crazy, though. The results of two prior tests there are readable using one and the same email address, and now they want to split it into another. I appreciate the work they do, but, honestly, it's an organization which 1) doesn't communicate unless you dog them, and 2) what they often say doesn't seem to make sense. Thanks for your response.

It sounds like you need to create a new account since they say "If you have already used your email address to register another GPID, you will need to use a different email address"

So you if you don't have another email address create one then, make sure you are logged out of the Genographic site and don't have auto login setup, then go to https://genographic.nationalgeograph...sults/register and put the NextGen GPID in and register with the other email address. If that doesn't work then try calling Genographic customer service at 713 868 1807.

After 2 months of waiting for my results, 2.0 Next Generation, I e-mailed the project to ask what's up and received a reply the next day that my results were ready for viewing. I was given the following instructions:

Thank you for contacting The Genographic Project. The results for your kit:xxxxxxx are complete and ready to be viewed. Please log-in* to your account to view them.

*xxxxxxx is not yet registered. On the Genographic Project homepage, select "Results". Enter your GPID code and click "Continue."

Enter in the required information below to create an account and register, OR select "Continue without Registering" further below.

*Please note, only one GPID can be registered per email address. If you have already used your email address to register another GPID, you will need to use a different email address, or Continue without Registering.

I'm registered on the website where results of two prior tests, other than the New Generation, are archived/linked. There is no place to enter the new test kit number and no new results.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, or what went wrong?
