  • J2a1k?

Does anyone have any information about J2a1k? My subclade results aren't final but someone I've communicated with seems to think that's where I am.

My ancestors are from Sicily so maybe that helps getting an idea as to where to start looking.

    Here's a brief synopsis.

    J2a M410+
    J2a1 DYS413< 18 usually 17-17 (see Sengupta)
    J2a1k DYS445 <7 usually 6 (unpublished - maybe ISOGG accepted)
    J2a1k1a DYS462=8 unpublished

J2a1k appears to be an old and widespread subclade. Sicily/Italy would certainly fit well.
