FTDNA Transfer to GP

Sorry if this is a dumb question. Can FTDNA results be transferred to GP? I just paid a bunch for my MtFull and YDNA111 through FTDNA and it seems silly to pay for another swabbing. My brief look on the GP website seems to indicate you can't transfer other companies results into their system.

If by "GP," you mean the National Geographic's Genographic Project (Geno 2.0 test), the answer is no. I'm not sure why you'd want to, anyway, except either to contribute to the scientific project, or get a different estimate of your biogeographic breakdown. Geno 2.0 does not have any match list for Y or mtDNA, either (or autosomal, for that matter).

FTDNA actually does the lab work for Geno 2.0, and testers can transfer those results to FTDNA. But not the other way around.

FTDNA accepts autosomal transfers from AncestryDNA and 23andMe, but neither of those companies accept transfers. No commercial DNA testing company, to my knowledge, currently accept Y or mtDNA data as transfers.
