      probably the same as europeans

        My guess is they would bear the same haplogroups as the same individuals from the nations they would now com from, minus of course recent admixture events (haplogroups coming from recent invasions). They were probably thus slightly more homogenous.

          The Crusades had the R1B with 393=12 and the Allatolah Skull Bump from generations of Helmet wearing.

          kidding of course. Is the skull bump thing really linked to Turkey?
