I am a co-administrator for the R1b-U106 Haplogroup Project. I am tracking the various test results and have found an anomaly best explained by some sort of mixup.
I have found someone who has tested 37 STR markers at FTDNA, and has also linked a Geno 2.0 SNP results to their kit. However, it is clear their STR markers do not match up with the SNP assignment.
At 37 markers, they are a GD of 18 from the modal value for Z6. Everyone else who is Z6+ is a GD of 6-10 at 67 markers, and I have found a variety of folks who have a GD of 8-12 at 67 markers who are Z6-.
I believe the Geno 2.0 SNP results are from a different individual than the FTDNA 37 STR values. Who should I get in contact with about this issue?
