Denisovan and Neanderthal Results

What is everyones percentages? Looking to see what is the highest Denisovan percentage given by NG.

My mother just got her results back and she was was a whopping 4.3% with a 2.4% Neandethal. I was 3.4% and 2.1%. This seems odd - I know they are experimenting with these claculations but even using the same methods I don't see how she should be so much higher especially since she is 100% European - seems way to high especially when it is higher than the Neanderthal.

I got my results today and I took a peek. My Neanderthal score was 2.1% vs. 2.7% at 23andMe. My Denisovan was 3.9%, which I don't pay any attention to because I don't even know what that is and they are experimenting with it. That's the part of the test I'm least interested in.

Yeah, 23andMe had me at 3.0 for Mr. Neander while Geno was 2.1. Wonder if all 23andMe results are higher realtive to the Geno?

Geno Results

I tested with 23 and Geno. My 23 Neanderthal was 2.6% and at Geno it is 3.5% and Denisovan is 3.0%. My husband just got his Geno results and he is 2.1% Neanderthal and 1.6% Denisovan. No 23 for him...not yet anyway!

My Geno2 numbers have jumped around some since they were first reported. Tonight they are:

Neanderthal 1.7
Denisovan 0.1

23andMe puts my Neanderthal component at 2.4%

I am a little surprised to see any Denisovan component at all since the original report restricted Denisovan markers to SE Asia and Oceania, with a small pocket a little further north.

I hope we eventually learn which specific SNPs on the Geno2 chip are taken as Neanderthal or Denisovan indicators.
