Lost kit?

Guess I need to use the phone. I thought that by using e-mail it would give them more time to prioritize and get back to me in a day or two with an answer - since the question is so simple. I seldom complain about anything, but the missteps from the git go have accumulated and got under my skin.

I used the email a week ago ,and they sent me a carbon copy generic email saying we are working hard ,and will get back to you, after the week I said forget it I am calling.

Did you ever get busy when you were in the DNA business?

Clearly you know something of my history beyond that of my being a customer.

To answer your question, yes I got busy. I would take vacations, but with my laptop and if in Hawaii would, every day, spend hours sitting in my rented car outside the wifi linked coffee shop answering queries and problem solving.

Here we have a simple look up exercise. If the sample hasn't arrived, then crimony send me another kit asap with an appology and fast track my next sample - that is what I would do.

My kit apparently arrived and is at 20% completion - according to my webpage (although have not as yet received an e-mail confirmation). I just wanted to know that the kit had arrived - and so it has, so as stated I don't have expectations about any quick turn around time since they have received a huge volume of samples in a glut. I will cut them slack here because I understand the situation and can empathize.

Just got an email from my brother. The kit has arrived. His ORIGINAL one. So hopefully they haven't sent a replacement which we now don't need.

Mine was entered as of today , even though it was logged in their internal records as of 12/19... I was told even though they didn't show it online that once its received ,weather it shows or not its already being analyzed at the lab, so it may be further along than some of us may think.

My (replacement) kit has been received this morning and has now reached 20%...!

My first order was in September and then advised that the kit was lots after 8 weeks... So now I have to wait for getting the results... What an experience!

WoW, and I thought 4 to 5 weeks was bad, That's terrible service!!!! I'm now 40% as of today

My experience was very similar to yours except that this first kit was sent to the wrong address. Anyway, after being shown on the webpage that the sample sent a month ago had arrived yesterday and was at 20% - today I see I am at 40%. Wow, they are smoking - keep on trucking.

Lost kit mailled Dec 19th

I mailed my kit Dec 19th, 2012 and took it in the post office and they added the postage. I have now asked for a replacement and hope to get one this time. Last time I asked they said it could show up and I had to wait 6 weeks. 6 weeks from when? the date I mailed it?
I am NOT happy with geno so far. It is now 26 Jan 2013
I could of walked it from IL to TX by now.

Found Kit

They have found my kit. (see last post) So now the wait is on.
