It is 10/6 and was told it wouldn't ship until 10/30 however my credit card was charged today. I am assuming it is shipping. Anyone else charged?

Initial publicity, back in July, said "... expected to ship no later than October 30th (although you can probably expect it earlier than that)."

"Please save or print this e-mail as it summarizes your order and will serve as your receipt. We will charge your credit card right before we ship your package(s). You can track your order by visiting our website at www.ShopNg.com/ordertracking."
You may want to check the order tracking
My kit still says in process which has been from the beginning. I ordered the 2nd day it came out.

My kit still shows in process as well. I also was not notified by National Geographic that my card was to be charged on 10/6 or that the kit was shipping.
(I am not saying this as if I am upset as I knew the possibilty of it shipping earlier than expected.)
But, anyway, I think we are all in agreement this is good news!

Keep in mind his autosomal and mtDNA results will be different from yours, and Geno2.0 tests those too.

Either way, the DNA and results from two different people should not be mixed up under the same kit number.
One person per kit number
