The best information I could find about this came from Thomas Krahn on a DNA mailing list:

In my understanding the publication that contains all the SNP
information will be released right when the sale starts (don't hold me
to that, I'm not aware if there may be some last minute changes to that
plan for whatever reason). As soon as the publication is out, all the
Y-SNPs will show up on ymap and all the sources I have control of.

We won't know for certain what SNPs will or will not be included until the National Geographic Society either publishes a list or until results come back.

Some SNPs are difficult (and may well be impossible) to place on chips while other SNPs can be placed on SNPs, but are (currently) unable to be tested via traditional (Sanger-based) DNA testing.

Another item to keep in mind is that chip-based testing will result in some no-calls, and there is no rechecking done. SNP testing at FT-DNA comes with an assurance they will keep running the test until they do achieve a result (or they are confident that the result is "null").
