Eli Slaughter was my grandfather. His wife's name was Mary Antoine Mercieca. Her parent's name was John & Elizabeth Edwards. Eli and Mary lived for a while in DeRidder, LA then they moved to Orange, Tx. Which one of Eli's sons is your family line from. I have information on quite a few family members.
