Hi folks,
Check you personal page at FTDNA.
For a nominal fee you can now upload your results to the Geographic project.
I uploaded my paternal YDNA & my mtDNA results.
Can't wait for the results!

Why is there a fee at all? I would hardly call $15 per sample "nominal."

Moreover, it is not $15 to download all your info, it is $15 for the mtDNA and another $15 for the Y data.

Anyway one looks at it...

...we're being offered a participation in a "for profit" business venture that just happens to be of interest to many... Hmmm, kind of like being caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea, as they say.

One good thing about it is that if the government were running it, it would probably cost us about $50...
