I think it might be [email protected] and I have a horrible feeling it might all be down too.
I found this at http://stuffgate.com/dna-forums.org and there is another similar website I also found but forget what it was called.

I received this email this morning:

              Hello,

Many of you may be users of dna-forums. Unfortunately, it appears that there is a possibility that the site may be down for a while.

This discussion board is available as a current alternative should that be necessary.
Clicking on my bookmark, it won't load.

Please tell me this: what is the source of the e-mail that you received? Which discussion board did that e-mail suggest as an alternative?

                    Sorry for the language.
I was refering to those who maintain that all U106 people like myself are descended from the Germans. There are lots of Irish people that feel the same and belong in the Z156*subclade.

I think this is the link...not sure how to join. I thought I did, but the log-in info I (probably) would have used didn't work.

                      Rivergirls link looks promising, though...

What debate? I posted a link to a map, without any comment, that's all, as a service to an individual who mentioned a U106 problem. Personally, I don't care that much about U106. If you ask me, this whole thread is inappropriate, since this is FTDNA's forum and has nothing to do with that other web site.

Thanks for your unsolicited, volunteer moderator activity, however.

That board was set-up by me. ~100 members.
Anyone can join, subject to approval to prevent spammers.

If your account doesn't work, reset the password or request a new account.

                              Caveat:
Since it hasn't been used recently, there is minimal activity.

Also, my concept to avoid some issues we've had in the past was to use a "hot" subtopic area for political or other off-topic debates.

                              ---------------
Also, I may take up to 24 hours to approve each new member, since I'm busy and I don't receive notices via email of new membership requests.
