On top of that...I have been banned from worldfamilies forum for 7 days for posting what Terry the curator calls "silly" postings. With a threat to make the ban permanent. On-line bullying a day after I sent an email requesting removal from one of worldfamilies surname projects.
who ever heard of a silly-ban in a public forum? It seems some have no sense of humour.

O'C....... over there accused me of being "anti Irish" because I stated a fact, that no author at any time in history between Greco - Roman times and the 1500s used the term Celtic in reference to the Irish, Scots and Welsh Gaelic speakers. Any book on the Celts, even those written by Irish authors, acknowledge this as fact. Jingoism is alive and well at dna-forums - or was at the time of my departure. It is unfortunate that a moderator did not inform M. O'C........ that personal attacks are unacceptable and ban him or her (and another historically challenged member of their cohort) before I left in haste on Christmas Eve back in 2008.

Dna forums down
I have an e.mail back from one of the forum moderaters he knows nothing either.
I did find a cached page via google it is a snapshot of the dna forum page as it appeared on the 4th March 2012 its is a bit like everyone had to leave in a hurry all quiet and spooky. I saved the page so I can look at it now and againand get my fix.

3 Days Now?
I think I haven't been able to get on to dna-forums for 3 days now and it feels like forever. I have tried to find an email contact for the site but suspect that it might be down too and only find comments that the site goes down on a regular basis for what seems to be technical problems. I can't wait for it to revive as I use it a lot and that's where I find out what is going on with SNP testing.

This time he's incommunicado. It's not looking real good. I hope George is okay.
