I gave up trying to register for the site weeks ago. Would not send me emails etc.

Every couple of months dna-forums.org is down for a day or so. It not much of surprise and is expected based on past down times.

I have been trying for many months to get onto that website. The link to get a new password never sends an email and I have never gotten anyone to respond to my request for help. It has been frustrating and impossible.
Does anyone have any idea how to contact someone. The link to the admin. has gotten me nowhere. No responses at all.

George, the site owner, has been "missing in action" for quite a long time now.

When, and if, it comes back up again I'll PM the moderators asking why new members are not being replied to.

It's Monday morning and dna-forums is still down.

On top of that...I have been banned from worldfamilies forum for 7 days for posting what Terry the curator calls "silly" postings. With a threat to make the ban permanent. On-line bullying a day after I sent an email requesting removal from one of worldfamilies surname projects.

who ever heard of a silly-ban in a public forum? It seems some have no sense of humour.

The danger with humor is that it's not universally appreciated, and you do come across forum administrators who have a specific genetic deficiency in that department.

I think the bill showed up and well dna-forums.org has in the past posted we need money or else. I'm guilty of no being a paid member, but I also have watched lots of PBS over the years without giving. Hopefully both dna-forums and PBS continue despite my lack of contributions. Anyone using it regularly should consider a membership.

I did respond to the last plea for money and have been a sponser ever since hopefully the forum will be up and running again soon.
