I ordered the subclade test for Haplogroup H and it came back as undetermined at this time (*). They tested for the known subclades and will retest as new ones are discovered.
But I estimated that I am at least an H5 (I joined a genealogy DNA mailing list and we had a nice discussion about it all!) and am wondering why I wasn't designated at least the H5, any further subclade to be determine when discovered?
My mutations are as follows:
HVR1:
16192T
16304C
16311C
16362C
HVR2:
263G
315.1C
456T
485C
523-
524-
I was under the impression that 16304C and 456T separate H5 from H4 and H6 and that it was a pretty sure thing. Why didn't my H subclade test pick it up?
