This may sound dumb but, I just had my DNA done. Does the haplo's show from both my mother and father? Or just my father?
    Thanks,

Anthony, What test did you have? Y-DNA, which would show your paternal line or mtDNA which would show your maternal line. I am assuming by haplo's you mean haplogroup.

I took the Y-dna test. What I was talking about is the list of deffrent origins. Are they all from my father or from my father and mother? Example, I show Ireland, Scotland, Anglo-Celt, Shetland, and Native american and more.
        Thanks,
        Anthony

          Anthony,

The Y-DNA reporst informationon your paternal line only. It doesn't mean that your paternal line came from all of those areas. It means people with your haplotype could have come some of those areas.
