Thanks for posting. For some reason, posts to the Facebook page are not showing up on my page. Is it a case of needing to manually check the Family Tree page at Facebook daily?

This is most likely due to a "feature" at Facebook. Try this:
1: In your news feed, choose "most recent" at the top.
2: Click the small arrow next to "most recent" and choose "edit options".
3: Change "show posts from" from "friends and pages you interact with most" to "all of your friends and pages".

also, i could be wrong, and it may have to do with one's own particular settings - but i know if FTDNA posts something it shows up on my Newsfeed; but I don't see the posts that other people write on their wall on my Newsfeed - only if I go to the FTDNA page do I see those.

This is how FB pages always works. You will see posts by the company or page owner in your newsfeed, but to see comments from other people on the page, you need to actually visit the page.
