Hi there, I have a dilemma. I want to take a DNA sample from someone using the Family Finder, but the person is on life support. Are there alternate places other than a cheek swab I can use to collect their DNA sample?
Thank you

As far as I know, FTDNA kits require a cheek sample, so if you are considering using FTDNA you should call them and discuss.
23andMe uses spit samples. Other labs may use blood samples -- I don't know.
As an aside, will you have a legal issue regarding informed consent?
