Hello all, I'm searching for people that would be willing to share their Lumbee (tri-racial isolate) (North Carolina, U.S.A.) MLI score from their DNA tribes results. I'm interested in your post even if you scored zero. For most, the Lumbee score will be found in the "Extended Match Results" product. I'm simply trying to gain a better understanding on how most people score in this. Thanks very much!

Hi TW81a (and anyone interested),
If you or your mother have some Native American ancestry it may show up in Latin American matches. Do you or your mother have any in part C the global matches? Do you have an extended report? If you do, search the pdf for the word "Mestizo", because that will have Amerindian admixture. In my case I have 3 Latin American matches in my part C. And my most recent extended, from a few weeks ago, I have twelve listed as Mestizo. Argentina (0.24) 72.00, Honduras (0.36) 50.07, another Honduras (0.40) 16.38, Jalisco, Mexico (0.13) 16.32, Cesar and Guajira, Colombia (0.26) 12.29, Ecuador (0.08) 8.90, Guanajuato, Mexico (0.04) 4.14, Ecuador (0.09) 2.91, Guatemala (0.05) 2.63, La Paz and Santa Cruz, Bolivia (0.03) 1.96, Veracruz, Mexico (0.05) 1.88, and Ecuador (0.02) 1.49.
edit: In my case I think my AncestryByDNA's 17% Native American is correct, and 23andme's zero Asian is wrong.Last edited by rainbow; 14 March 2010, 04:26 PM.
