How to best utilize my information

I have just recieved my 37th marker result and now am questioning what to do with the information. I have solid evidence and conformation with another tested person but, we are stuck at the same ancestor. We have not been able to find parents, siblings or wife of this ancestor. We have a 34/37 match with someone in Ireland but having a different surname. Analyzing all this information is giving me a headache. Please Help!

Yes I have already been looking at Ysearch.org and my number is HXX46. Thank you for any help you can provide. I am not sure about same surnames with genetic distances or different surnames with matching markers.

Have you looked at familysearch.org? I just discovered this website a month or so ago and found tons of good information. It might help you break through the wall.
