I have just received the final batch for 67 markers and my predicted Haplogoup is I Shorthand I-M170
My matches 12/12 1
25 Genetic distance 1 (same person)
37 and 67 Nil matches
Ancestral Origins
12 marker
Czchec Republic, France, Italy, Kazakhastan, Latvia (Ashkenazi), Scotland and Uzbekistan 1 each Greece 3 Germany 4
25, 37 and 67 Nil matches
all the % matches are > 1 so significance is very small
As I understand it I would need to go to a deep clade test to narrow down the branch of I that belongs.
I have had a look at Y search and the best Genetid distances I have come up with are not to promising
25 marker GD 8
12 marker GD 9 GD 8 GD 6 GD 5
these two are in the not related bracket
8 marker GD 1 I am not sure on the relevance of this one yet

How many markers has your match been tested for? The number should show after his name on the 12 marker match.

Maybe one out of ten I1 results are ambiguous enough to warrant a Deep Clade Test, but usually the test is a waste of money. The I1 branch, for most 37 & 67-marker results, can be determined just from the STRs.
If I could see your results, I could tell you which branch and any others markers that might be useful to order.
I searched on-line (Wikipedia Haplogroup I1) and found my DYS 12-markers are consistent with I1-N (Norse) with the peak location for I1-N being Sweden. The one DYS marker that is not exact is 385a which should be 14 but my 385a DYS marker is 12?
I'm not sure, does this negate the I1-N Haplogroup or does one DYS marker being a 12 when it should be 14?
