    Many of the samples in the ancestoral origin database are not part of the surname groups and their contact information isn't shared.

    I know of a case like this. The customer had no way of directly contacting his close match, so he asked FTDNA to forward an e-mail from him to his match. FTDNA did that and his match responded to him.

    How to contact match that is not displayed?

    My closest matches shown are at a GD of 6 on 67 markers. Yet my ancestoral origins page shows the I have one match at a GD of 5. Is there any way that I can contact this person?
