    my husband has these in his haplotree, but what are they? other than branches (brachea's, more likely) that connect further back.
    and what are the groups that focus on these researching?

    The new markers are moving forward towards today.

    I think it's safe to say we L21* hope they find more snp's down stream of L21...like M222.

      We are gathering data, mapping the places of origin of the ancestors of our project members, slowly trying to figure out where P312 and its subclades, including L21, came from and how.

      That is why we need all those who are P312+ to join the R-P312 and Subclades Project and all those who are L21+ (x M222) to join the R-L21 Plus Project.
