Melungeon DNA

I'm wondering if anyone has done any DNA work with Melungeons peoples. Like so many I was told that we have indian blood, but so far none of my research has indicated that. I read some information about Melungeons and it's a possiblity with my ancestors surname and location. Any ideas?
