  • DNA of the Germanic tribes

I should like to know more about the origin of the Germanic
tribes. Did they come from Scandinavia or from Germany to
Scandinavia? For it is an impossible thing to believe that Germanic
tribes live simultaneously in North Germany and south Sweden
and Norway. Once the Germanic language must have arisen,
    probably in Germany.

But I should like to know something about the DNA of Germanic
skeletons. Where did the ancestors of the Germanic tribes live
during the Ice Age? In France, Italy or in the Balkan countries?

That is a very good question which I have always pondered about as well. So thanks for asking. Your questions were also very well thought out and I hope we can get some just as good answers.
