Help!

I have just rescently become interested in finding my genealogy, and my family heritage, but i have no clue as to where to begin. any help would be greatly appreciated!

The best place to begin is with your relatives. Interview your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. Develop a specific set of questions to ask, and get their basic information. You may want to consider recording the conversation, with their permission. Obtain as much information on your ancestors from living relatives as possible. You can find copies of something called "family group sheets" to record basic information about different families. With that information you can proceed to genealogy sites for surnames and geographic locations to pursue your family history. If you are like many of us, it will soon become an obsession for you.
