I'm searching for the last names of Furnish, Cade( my mother's parents), KImball, Kent, Mudgett, Franklin(my father's parents}, & Cate. My maiden name was Mudgett. My great grandfather was Jeremiah Mudgett married to Jane Kent. They were married in Wi. I have records on Jane's side of the family, but have hit a brick wall for Jeremiah. Who his mother & father were, where he was born, and where he came from. I hope someone can help me. My grand father Wiley Mudgett was born a Kimball, but when his mother died, his aunt Jane took him and his twin brother Willie as her own. Jane & Jeremiah had no children of their own, but they raise at least two other children besides granddad. Willie died in very early childhood.Grandfather's birth name was Wilder not Wiley. Not sure when it was changed. He was born in Wi. He moved to Texas when he was young. He met and married Mary Viola Franklin in Texas. So if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
