Evidence of a catastophic flood resulting from the bursting of a glacial ice dam is found on the floor of the English Channel.

I always thought it was obvious that it was caused by a flood. Nobody knew that before?
Good to know 'scientific proof' has been found.

Same with the scablands in the US. Obvious.

English Channel

The original "valley" may have been formed about 100K years ago, but during all subsequent ice ages the water level was so low that Britain was not an island. After the last ice age it was not until about 8-6000 years ago that the Dogger bank and the Channel flooded again.
