GED match (j test ) and dna.land both show 10% Ashkenazi. Dna.land pin points it to Lithuania but I am unaware of ancestry there however My great grandparents on my grandfather side are from Ukraine and Poland that I am aware.
The weird thing is it was my Mtdna that gave me a lot of Ashkenazi matches , not my Ukraine/Poland grandfathers side
so I don’t know where to start . Is 10% a high enough amount that I might find a genealogical connection or is this showing of deep ancestry. Any input is appreciated!
