What kit(s) should a small group of women purchase in order to
determine if they are related ? Their common ancestor being researched is male, and is at least 7 generations back. In my
line he is (using your chart) the grandfather of MC.
We are at the end of a genealogy paper trail and would like to
know if we descend from the same male, so what is the best
kit to purchase for this project?
    Thanks

The comon ancestor being a male, there's no test that will determine if they are related.
In order to prove relatedness we have to check descendants on straight paternal or maternal lines.
