Could someone explain to me about batch numbers? My batch number was 60 and I'm waiting on batch number 62 for the results of another Mallett. Do you get a bunch of DNA samples in and start a new batch every week? When do you expect batch 62 to be ready? Hope this wasn't a stupid question.

There's an optimal number of tests to be run in a plate, or multiple plates. That's why we send them in batches every two weeks. Therefore, batch 62 went to the lab 4 weeks after batch 60.
