  • DNA results guide your ethnic definition?

Should your DNA results influence how you describe your ancestry on the next census in 2010? I ask because on one hand people tend to act like DNA is neither here or there, like it isn't applicable anywhere, except of course here at FamilyTreeDNA,where there are scientists and people who have enquiring minds. On the other hand if there is any validation to DNA then it might be good to use the results to guide what we would list as our ethnic ancestry.I never knew excactly what to write on the census, because I didn't know exactly what my family was. Many people couldn't figure why I didn't know where my family from but-uh-now I know.

I always choose native American. Well, I was after all born here!
