I'm apologize in advance for asking something which has probably been asked 1,000 times before, but it's easier than using most forum search engines.
I recently received my results - 100% Ashkenazi. From some additional research, I understand this is a population with a mix of Middle Eastern and European DNA which has been relatively stable for hundreds, if not thousands, of years.
What I'd like to do is find to what degree there are tools available here at FTDNA to drill down further - whether I can discover the specific European and other strains in my personal makeup. I'm also interested in reasonable next steps to use the information I have.
Thanks.
