How is 100% possible?

My tests turned out to show that I am 100% asian minorian. With a neanderthal dna of 0.9 % and no denisovan.

How is that possible I have a pure dna, rather than a mixture. Although my father and mother are cousins, considering that we have been here in Asia Minor for thousands of years, a passage for all kind of people on North-South and East-West corridors, How is that possible that I have a 100 % j hablogroup consisting of (j-f4306 yDNA and j1c on mtDNA).

Could there a problem with the test (which is from genographic)
Any ideas?

Were your recent ancestors from northeastern Turkey? Were they Turks, Laz, or Armenians or what?

The "Asia Minor" category in Family Tree DNA's MyOrigins is drawn exclusively from an Armenian reference population. I don't know about National Geographic's Geno's category samples.

I am from Blacksea region in northeast of Turkey from Trabzon. We know at least 6 generations back to 1830-1840s and Turkish origin, but the area have been known to be multilingual both Turkish and Greek. Still does it make any sense to have a 100% of a hablogroup? Are there anyother who are 100% of their group

You have taken 3 completely different tests, and each one is completely different than the other two. J yDNA is completely different from J mtDNA - these two haplogroups were simply named using the same letter of the Roman alphabet - beyond that, there is no relationship between them. Your myOrigins results show up to the last 2,000 years of your overall ethnicity. If your family has lived in the same region for many generations, and if they have married people who are related to them, then these results can be expected. Your results are complicated by the fact that your parents are cousins. How far apart are they? 2nd cousins? 3rd cousins?

Understand. By the way my parents are 1st degree cousins. Children of two brothers. On the other hand after some search I realized that I'm from the same HG with 13.000 year old man, whose artifacts were found in Satsurblia cave in Georgia.

Meastn, your results fit a pattern where Trabzon Turks lack the Northeastern Asian element and European elements that many or most other Turks have.

In this thread at Anthrogenica.com, a user nicknamed Sangarius wrote "My grandparents' FamilyFinder results came in yesterday. They are both from Trabzon, which is located on the eastern Black Sea co[a]st of Turkey. The MyOrigins for both are the same. 100% Anatolian." And the screenshot for one of them shows 100% Asia Minor. Same results you got. That's why I was able to predict your ancestors lived in the northeastern corner of Turkey, because I remembered Sangarius' thread.

He explored the people his grandparents match and determined that his grandmother must be "of Hemshin Armenian origin" and his grandfather is probably "of Pontic Greek ancestry" even though most of his matches "have Turkish names".

I got my results yesterday and I am 60% Asian minor and have the [Caucasian/Anatolian] branch of J1 Y-Haplogroup and I am waiting for my mtDNA results ,but my father and mother are from totally different families ,So i think i get most of the "60% Asian minor" from my father side.

FTDNA gave me 100% Southeast Asia. First, it sounds weird. But it turn out Southeast Asia in FTDNA's MyOrigins covering a very large area. So it makes sense to me.

I am a novice here, so excuse in advance my ignorance...

My Family Finder result shows 75% Asia Minor, 15% Southern Europe and 10% SE Asia. I am still baffled by the latter, being Greek & Christian Lebanese. Can't see at what stage that might have occurred. And how. Has anyone else come across something similar? I am having fantasies now of an ancestral Silk Road traveller long ago! But is it even possible to guess how far in the past 10% might refer to?

Could it be that rather you having ancestors that came from further east that some descendants of yours moved east in such numbers that those genes are fairly prevalent in the areas they moved to.

For example some people in continental Europe with no known ancestry from the British Isles get a proportion of British in their admixture. This is probably due to Anglo-Saxon genes.
